Forums - Gaming - Software quality 2015. Who will win? Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft?

All 3 will be great but for me, I like MS the most. MS's line up is pretty bad in the first 8 months of the year though.

Nintendo of course.

Lol are you seriously even asking.

Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 and Persona 5

Hate to break this to you, but Persona 5 isnt first party. Lets just be happy SEGA isnt leaving it in japan as with all their other RPG's.

I feel like Nintendo will win, quality wise, though i feel like I will prefer sony software this gen

Wii U, 3DS.. is there any doubt?

Sony.

They'll have Bloodborne, The Order, Uncharted 4, Rime, Ratchet and Clank reboot, No Man's Sky, Persona 5, Yakuza, (japan), Dragon Quest Heroes (japan), MLB 15 if you care about that, and a bunch more that I can't remember.

Even if some of them end up being duds, they'll have more than enough other titles that will be great to make up for it.

Not made by them and is going to be on pc. In fact, Yakuza, Persona 5 and Dragon Quest Heroes aren't made or published by them either.

Anyway, Nintendo for me because of Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda U, Fire Emblem (I believe it will come out in 2015) and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (never played the original). Also intrigued by Youkai Watch, but that isn't made by Nintendo, though they may publish it in the West.

Op clarified that it wasn't only 1st/2nd party. On the list above, you can add Until Dawn and Tearaway Unfolded.

Hate to break it to you, but that doesn't matter. Also Persona isn't made by SEGA.

Here's your second post in the thread (your first post being the list of games you're looking forward to):

MonHun isn't Nintendo though.

Yoshi and Kirby, meh...

Oh yeah, Rain reminded me, Sony is also making Tearaway: Unfolded!

At least try to be consistent with your thoughts. First/Second party titles should be listed here, otherwise the thread is quite pointless.

So why doesn't Monster Hunter count for Nintendo lol? There's also Bravely Second and Youkai Watch.

Oh and just because you think Yoshi is meh doesn't mean other people can't like it. It will get good reviews and sales, don't you worry!

Nintendo, easily. Quality over quantity.

Although it looks like their output for 2015 (especially on Wii U) is likely to be greater than it was in 2014, so maybe they'll start getting the quantity thing down pat as well.

Sony and Microsoft's published games look interesting-ish (mostly I'm curious to see how Quantum Break and Uncharted 4 turn out, though I'm worried they'll fall into that classic pattern of not allowing a ton of freedom for exploration) but most of the stuff from major third-parties (EA, Ubisoft, Activision, etc.) interests me less and less. And even if it did interest me, most of it is available on at least three different platforms.

persona IS made by sega... atlus is sega...
