I honestly expect PS4 to get 1 or 2 as well, FFXV is a given, maybe DQXI if its a PS4 game, I don't think anything will, but some should get close.

That's the only possible explanation for those bizarre figures. :P

Well the last GT to be a million seller in Japan was GT4 and the series has been in decline since GT3, so :/

What I want to know is, if these are actual accurate numbers then why doesn't Vgchartz bother to fix their numbers?

great thread. i don't know if it's just what i want, but i have this feeling that ps4 is going to do a lot better software (and in my honest opinion, hardware wise) wise in japan compared to the ps3.

I just realized that Mario Golf was created as a response to Hot Shots Golf. Funny, I thought it was the other way around. And it seems MG never became as big as HSG. Japanese gamers really love golf, this finally explains why Sony keeps making those games, they're popular over there.

Also, Hot Shots Golf and Gran Turismo are the only Sony franchises that appeal to Japanese audiences.

Just found this link through another thread and again, if all this is official up to date sales and Vgchartz has completely different numbers then why do they not bother fixing them?

This shows FFVII outsold FFVIII by a good amount but Vgchartz has the complete opposite.

Dragon Quest Heroes and Tales of Zestiria join PS3's Top 50, not that many games join Vita's Top 50, but GE2: Rage Burst and Sword Art Online: Lost Song are there, Minecraft's climb is really impressive.

PS4 is the largest update, last time it only had 49 games, now its a complete list, plenty of new software there, Dragon Quest Heroes, Bloodborne, Yakuza, etc.

Digital sales are included where available.
