Dying Light Delayed?

According to a few websites Dying Light may have been delayed.

There’s no official word yet, but it appears the delay is due to certain scenes needing to be changed because they were a reminder of “January attacks.” Due to the litany of attacks that happened around the world this month that’s not a clear indicator of what’s going on, but Amazon France has changed the release date of the game to March 31 and gaming store fnac has changed it to February 27.

While all of this seems suspect there hasn’t been a change to Dying Light’s homepage as the game is still listed for release on January 27. That coupled with Youtube walkthroughs this could be absolutely nothing at all, but is interesting nonetheless with the game releasing in less than two weeks.

As of right now Dying Light is listed to release later this month on January 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Well I don't know if I would buy it in two weeks, because Dead Island was mediocre. But I'm 100% sure I won't buy it instead of The Order or Bloodborne. So better for them if they stay as the first big release of the year I guess.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Maybe it's just delayed in France?

Also, how can anything in this game be similar to Paris attacks? Unless those two brothers were actually zombies.....
ISIS - The Army of Undead...

I personally don't believe a game that contains similar events to those occurring in the real world is a justifiable excuse for censorship, no matter how violent or offensive it may be. As has already been pointed out, I am struggling to see what could be in the game that would be similar to those attacks, considering the world in the game has already gone to shit and is filled with zombies.

Hopefully this is just delayed in France, or the rumour is false.

Probably just France.

Hopefully this isn't true, been looking forward to this game.

Yeah me too. The Dead Island games were rough but still pretty enjoyable, if you could forgive a load of issues

This looked to be improved in almost every way

You can already preload on Xbox One. I can't see how it would be delayed if they're that far in the process.

Edit: In the US, which is the extent of what I know.

Hope it doesn't get delayed, im really looking forward to it. Plus game release wise its perfect on the 27th, gives me about a month till The Order to enjoy it. End of March not so much with Mortal Kombat X and Mighty No 9 dropping in the first half of April.

Things like this make be scared to see which exclusive game will be delayed to 2016
