if they nominate a right wing nutjob, they will lose the younger womens too. that brings Texas into play.

if they dont pick a moderate or a latino(even ted cruz) they will have a hard time in some red states (incl texas)

Texas likes their right wing nutjobs though, Ted Cruz is a Texas senator after all

they voted for bush junior too. but Cruz is a latino, and still didnt win by a lot. sure he will take texas, but other rightwinger will not.

Well, if democrats were competitive in statewide elections I would agree with you, but since republicans are still dominating them in statewide elections then that is strong evidence the state isn't close to sliding to battleground territory.

There are plenty of other states that are far closer to becoming battlegrounds then Texas.

texas has almost 40% latinos, and isnt a white majority state anymore. it will be hard if the reps nominate a rightwinger, those are anti latino and women hate em.

Benghazi, email servers, and now "Clinton Cash", any one of these would have terminated a Republican's chance at getting the Presidency, let's see how well the regime media will cover all of these combined.

I would have to do some checking up on Rubio before I comment on him.

The problem is that Clinton needs a real opponent to keep the media focused on them, but she doesn't have one and likely won't have one until the general election.  Right now the media seems perfectly content to ignore clintons probable challengers as none of them seem like they will be able to challenge her and the republican field is offering juicier story lines...

Well, that's all the problem with your system fixed on candidates instead of real agendas. There would be some need for more political parties, less obsession about the presidents and by the way much much less money in the GAme of Thrones.

clinton has a lot of dirty little secrets, but they hurt much less than the Grand GOP race to the far far far far far far far fa far right.

And Clinton gets her first challenger... Not really sure what kind of support someone like Sanders will get...

So... Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson are both running for the republican nomination... Both have 0 experience in holding political office... However, they both do a lot of conservative commentating. So, since neither really has any serious chance of getting the nomination, I think they are just trying to raise their brand so they can charge more money for speeches. Maybe land a cabinet spot or something, but even that I think is a stretch... What do you guys think? Are they seriously running for president? Or is there another motive?

Clinton is pretty much a moderate, cut from the same cloth of the likes of Obama, Bushes, McCain, etc. So Sanders would likely get the support of "informed" liberals and more extreme leftists who don't vote for what is popular, but more with regards to whom they agree with more ideologically.
