Well spocken,  I think that this site has a strange amount of Nintendo fans. In my experience, Nintendo offers a short bang for your buck. A short and fun experience as compared to the long and fun experiences offered in the box and playstation.  

Last gen, I must have clocked over 1000 hours in Mario Kart and Smash Bros alone. It's all relative. I usually play/replay Nintendo (and Blizzard) games a lot more than Sony games.

As can be easily seen by my name and avatar I am a PlayStation fan. This is due to various reasons:

1. The PlayStation 1 was the first console with exclusives which appealed to me both as a child back then and as an awkward peubescent teen of today. From Crash ( especially warped and tag team racing ), Spyro to a slew of amazing third party games ( Toy Story 2 and Spider man (2000 ) the first PlayStation litreraly destroyed the Nes, I had before, and all it's games.

2. All PlayStation console which I have owned have had an exceptional build.From my PS1 which is now 16 years old and still working perfectly to a PS2 controller which didn't break even though it was dropped a gazzilion times a day. All PlayStation products which I have owned have remained in prestine edition.

3. Sony knows what's best! From recruiting numerous devs to produce a slew of amazing games for the PS1 to not falling for the DRM catastrophe in this Generation, Sony has always stuck by the consumer.

I'm a fan of all of the systems, well more so the games really. 

3 is entirely wrong. If Sony knew what's best they would not be in the terrible position that the company is in. The Playstation brand is srong though. They have contributed to the DRM catastrophe fully, just been devious about it. What do you think PS+ and PSNow are? They are very much a form of DRM and are akin to a rental system where there is no ownership for the customer. Might as well be renting from Red Box or Gamefly. The most recent DDoS attack against Playstation Network showed that the system is quite limited without the ability to connect and be tracked online.



Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

I responded to him becase his opinion is as close to mine from what I read in the thread. I am not interested in debating Nintendo games  longevity with Nintendo entusiasts. I was sayig from my perspective and what he wrote, he would probably be wasting his time with Ninty games.

Nintendo. If you were to say all consoles got the third parties, really I would never see a point to get another console other than Nintendo's. You can't really beat their exclusives.
