When is that PROMISED free version of Driveclub coming? or are they holding it back now until the sales dry up a bit more?

Bit naughty that isnt it.

Welcome dude. Havent seen you in a while. I guess they are waiting sales to go down.

Pretty underhand if you ask me.  MS would get murdered on here and Gaf for acting like that.

Dunno, if I was waiting for the free stripped version of the game I wouldn't go out and buy the full game now, also people are regularly complaining about the free version being MIA, there is a thread about that topic (created today) on the frontpage of GAf right now:

What it highlights is that XB1 exclusives sold nearly as much as ps4 exclusives despite the smaller install base and very little bundling compared to ps4. Pretty much exclusive games and accessories is how the companies make money and basically sony gave away a pretty big chunk of their revenue.

You are still not getting it. Its sales ranking. We are comparing exclusives sales number. For your info I have updated OP. Titalfall is in that list.

And that changes the fact the PS4 exclusive outperformed the XB1 exclusives, how?

Oh yeah, I forgot it was Sony that gave an enormous chunk of their revenue away this holiday season. Lol

You did well not to include 'hardware' in that statement. MS would never give one of their games away for free ... It's a good job MS were not leaking money this Christmas. If they were they'd have to put the XB1 back up in price.

The PS5 Exists.

You sound concerned. Did you get a ps+ subsciption for that ps4 of yours or are you waiting for the ps+ version of Driveclub before you subscribe?

In the UK they were... and still are.  The deals here on PS4's are incredible.

And XB1. It's been sold at 279 pounds.. PS4 was never cheaper than that. And right now the AC BF+Unity bundle is 299.99, 30 pounds cheaper than the PS4 regular (no game) SKU.

You know I was being ironic, yes Sony was willing to throw away more cash in the UK market then they were in the US or mainland Europe, but the point is that at the end of the day it was not Sony that spend the most money on being competitive this year, like true_fan was somewhat suggesting.

Sony have done a great job in taking back some of the market share they lost last gen in the UK. I'd say it has a good chance of winning out the gen here, both in hardware and software (completely the opposite to my pre-release prediction).

Anyway, are all versions grouped in these rankings? So FH2 = X1 + 360 and LBP3 = PS3 + PS3? If so then i'm impressed to see DC ahead of FH2, even considering the bundling, and not particularly impressed by LBP3 beating out SO. No complaints about TitanFall being the top "exclusive" either. Don't care much for it myself, but I've heard plenty of good things from friends.

Driveclub being heavily bundled helped it a lot, not sure it'd have made top 100 otherwise, Forza Horizon starting outselling it vanilla despite releasing earlier.

I didnt say the ONE didnt have good deals did I?  But lets not pretend the PS4 didnt have amazing deals too.  3 AAA games for the normal SKU price.

I think I only ever saw it at 359 (DC+TLOU+LBP3 if I'm not mistaken?) ..that's not the normal price, though it's obviously a good deal regardless. And on BF I don't think there was such a deal either http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/black-friday-best-ps4-deals-uk-2014-1274717. Several X1 bundles were sold at sub 300 pounds with 2 AAA games

Anyway both had good deals. They pretty much mirrored each other in value at some point or another, in a way.
