Forums - Sony Discussion - Naughty Dog won't push Uncharted 4 to 60fps if it compromises player experience

That's alright we all know Uncharted 5 will end up looking twice as good and running at 60 fps and Uncharted 6 will be even better at 240 fps, game graphics always get better over time.

If the frame rate is a solid 30 - 45 FPS without a drop then it's fine with me. Playing TLoU: Remastered on 60FPS compared to 30FPS & the former didn't feel "right" IMO. Uncharted 4 is fine with 1080P/30FPS especially since the visuals are a damn joy to look at. Some talk like 30FPS means a broken game lol.

But it was Naughty Dog themselves that said that.

I'm really disappointed that 60 FPS and less input lag isn't somehow a part of the player experience this gen. Games get prettier but sometimes I feel like all the other stuff I took for granted keep devolving.

When? I've only heard them state that they're aiming for 60FPS.

True, but they did give the option at 30FPS anyway lol.

Sucks that people care more about those extra polys and res. VS 60fps. I prefer it the other way.

It sucks that some people care about things I can't see more than things I can.

The PS5 Exists.

I do not feel any difference between 30 fps or 60 fps.
It won't be a problem for me.

If the PS4 and Xbone can't handle 1080p60, theres a big problem imo. My three year old gaming PC cost me 700 and still handles 1080p60 on medium... if the systems can't handle it then they shouldn't have been released yet. 4k TV's are becoming more affordable and within 5 years will be in finacial reach of most of the middle class. Meaning that 1080/60 is something that shouldn't even be a question with this generation, it should be the standard.

It seems to be a problem with western devs. This will sound cliche but their obsession with graphics is strange and destructive. Ground Zeroes proves that a game can be open world, look good and still run at 60fps. I dont understand their logic, would Uncharted 4 look that much worse if they targetted 60fps? Would it really.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
