I think the reason for the limited stock is to artificially increase the value of these limited editions (since there are already so many different limited edition 3DS'). I think it's less to do directly with business, and more to do with their brand I guess?

I went to my local Gamestop and it was sold out in the first 15 minutes it was available. Then I tried my luck with Target.com (nada) then I tried Best Buy.com (found it there) and purchased mine pre-order. Then when I checked again after I finished reading this thread... It was unlisted as of right now...

Crazy! I should have bought 4 and became a scalper!!! (2 to sell, 1 to keep, and one for display/collection).

If it sells for PS4 Limited Edition PSOne prices however I will sell mine in a Heartbeat...

I'm not worried. When I got my Pikachu 3DS, I just walked into Target the second morning. They had it restocked and I bought it.

They also show the Majoras Mask 3DS game special edition, not many copies left though.

Funnily enough I checked the JB website when I started this thread, didnt list any Majoras Mask stuff.

Yeah it only went up in the last hour or so, so happy I could get the game this time. Missed out with EB
