Should have made the box itself orange or something. I'm still looking for a different colored box like Luigi U or Mario Kart.

This will be like the greatest ever Online Nintendo 1st party game along side Smash & MK8.

I already know the game isn't for me BUT they could've made an appealing boxart, nonetheless. IMO the way it looks now will detract from sales instead of attracting them. Way too much noise on there.

I agree with this. I would've liked something more stylized and focused, but I'm content with what we have and at the end of the day, it's just box art lol. I think it'll look better in person, too. I've found this to be the case with almost every Wii U game.

The Nintendo logo at the bottom right looks a lot like the Nickelodeon logo with the ink splat behind it.

I have really liked Nintendo's box art lately.........except for Captain Toad, why did they need to go with all gold background?

Yeah, there's no real reason to get carried away over box art . The official art is in the friendly, outdoors-play tone that fits the game well, in contrast to the serious, artsy look that I'd prefer.
