Any particular reasons it's taken this drop?

- Underwhelming HW sales in the Holiday season

- Getting out of the Brazilian market;

- Didn't go mobile like some investors wanted

probably at least one of this....

Thanks for the explanation.. (and they are pretty supid then.. even I knew that)

But why do you think Sony drop whit them (and almost all other japaness companys) ?

Investors, pah! What do they know about video games? They're interested in milking.

Damn Investors must have not been impressed with the Direct. They better hope their flagship titles sell well this year or those "billions" in the bank will go away FAST.

they have a large amount of assets and just cash on hand. even if the stock drops it will not just magically erase all of their value; i.e. that is one reason it hasn't really been dramatically dropping in terms of Nintendo's value now vs. a much more successful period (last generation)

Oops, just noticed that the price reached a low of $11.39 in Feb 2013. Before that however, it was May of 2004 where it was this low.

time to buy (into) sonys smartphone business and announce the NPP (nintendo-playstation-phone) and NPT (nintendo-playstation-tablet)

Japanese and Asian stocks in general fell today. Sony is down by 2.5 percent.
