Tagging for later, I do these every year and I have to redeem myself for my shitty 2014 numbers...
Aight; here we go:
WiiU: 12.1 million, about 3.2 million for the year and down about 14-15% from the 3.65 it sold in 2014. Terribly slow summer and poor Q1 and Q2 will be the main culprits but I also believe that the holidays will be worse for it this year.
XB1: 20.7 million, 9.7 million for the year and up about 20% from the 7.9 million it sold in 2014. Lower price from the start in its biggest market and a push in Europe as well as a likely global price cut and some proper system sellers arriving around Q3 and Q4 will really help.
PS4: 35.5 million, selling around 17 million for the year up about 20% from the 14 million it sold in 2014. Keeps on going, will probably have to start competing more on price, especially with MS being seemingly intent upon taking America, will also likely be getting some decent system sellers and some possible breakout hits.
3DS: 59 million and about 8.5 million for the year, down about 15% from the 10-ish million it sold in 2014. It can get all the software in the world, release the N3DS in the West and even cut the price but the onslaught of the smart device is relentless and won't stop the decline. I will not be surprised to have this number go under, seeing as how I overshot my 2014 prediction by about 2.5 and was even considered conservative with that.
Vita: 11.6 million and about 2 million for the year, down around 15% from the 2.3 million it sold in 2014. We all know the adventure was over before it started, the Vita was doomed from the very beginning and the only reason the decline won't be even bigger than the 3DS is that the baseline is so low to begin with.
