Seems really fun and looks great. That music though, horrible. Hopefully it will be possible to turn it off, but knowing Nintendo and audio options this seems unlikely.

The second best part of the direct though, only after XCX. Looking forward to it!

More online modes = more options. You're also pretending as if no information is lost from the english to japanese translation and vice versa.

It's a poor interpretation. I'm not pretending anything. Why would I know what rules can be changed? Maybe an option to turn off stat boosts on clothes. Maybe an option to switch from lives to stocks like in Smash. We barely know anything about this mode. The translator knows what was being asked. No amount of "lost in translation" is going to change an answer talking about rules and customization options to and answer talking about extra online modes. You're reaching for straws that aren't there.

Extra online have been dodged in every question where it's been asked, including this.

I don't bet. I gain no pleasure or satisfaction from being right or other people being wrong at my expense and I don't need an insignificant badge of "correctness" like profile picture control to feel good about my predictions.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The town reminds of the one in TWEWY and Jet Set Radio, and the colors and overall artstyle of everything makes, well, everything, pop and stand out. This may be the first true console Nintendo game since Super Mario Galaxy. It just has so much SOUL put into it, the kinda soul that made me love the N64 and GameCube so much.

I'm now filled with determination.

I was already seeing the Jet Set Radio vibe when it was announced, especially the music. :p

This game will be iconic. A staple in Nintendo's franchises. People will remember the Wii U as the console where Zelda was open world, Bayonetta was exclusive, Xenoblade was the most massive RPG of the gen and Splatoon launched for the first time. Kind of like how people remember GCN for games like Pikmin.

I absolutely adore everything about this game. Its art style, its music, its charm and online/single player modes. I will play this game so much during the summer.
