When I logged on it stated they're doing maintenance, but seriously. How stupid is Sony, really? Maintenance at 7:00pm. Why don't they do maintenance for whatever regions at 7:00AM? Why pick the time where people get home from work, or just get finished eating dinner and want to do something before going to sleep, etc. Sony astounds me with how idiotic the people who run the company are.

But honestly, Nintendo Network never goes offline, and it's a free service that's rather sketchy. And a paid so called superior service keeps going down? Wasn't one of there hole points of making you pay was to make there network more stable and add new and great features. I really hope Sony puts the money up and solves these problems. They shouldn't be getting hacked anymore, or these errors should have been ironed out by now.

That's why you pay for Sony's service. They have more features than Nintendo and have more online games. What should also go along with paying that money is more servers to handle this greater traffic. And better protection from hacks.

I'm on PS3, I ain't paying for shit.

DDoS =/= not hacks

Also who says that the protection isn't better? How would we know that when Nintendo never gets attacked?

I finally just got back in, was down for about 1 hour 20 minutes for me. That doesn't sound like a lot but thats pretty much my whole gaming time tonight grrrrrr.

The only silver lining is that I had an excuse to play First Light instead of Destiny, which is awesome.

Sony needs to step their game up.

Use a PC to get to the PSN store.  And, well... No Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins for me tonight.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing lately for PS+ games when PSN is down. It's a nice back-up.

Anyway, it seems like thing are back to normal now :)
