So devils third, starfox, xenoblade, zelda, fatal frame 5, and yoshis wolly world appear to be the post e3 lineup for this year. Starting to worry about zelda being delayed as that is reasonably stacked and there is no way they don't have an e3 surprise.....

Xenoblade 3D is April I believe. The real issue here is after that, the 3DS has nothing.

And you're probably not wrong there. I still expect FFV to come out at some point though simply due to the lack of titles the wii u has.

Was my line of thought throughout the entire Direct. Easily the worst 'New Year's'-Direct since they started.

It wasn't only slouching through mud consisting of glorified mobile games however. A new Fire Emblem, while disappointing it's not the WiiU game, was surprising. The Majora's Mask LE N3DS looks beyond beautiful, but again they neglect to put an actual retail copy of the game in that box. Xenoblade also looks good.

Downloadable Wii games is pretty pointless to me but whatever. Putting out amiibo duplicates already of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and others as well. Makes me want to wait on getting a Link amiibo until they release a 'real' Zelda series line.

Fire Emblem's trailer looks quite good. While I would love to see them try some Battalion Wars or Valkryia type gameplay, it's probably my favorite series that Nintendo makes.

We probably need to get used to it, it is unlikely that Nintendo will go back to physical games in these bundles.

Isn't surprising that Wii U wasn't the focus. Nintendo needs to create handheld hype. Once the N3DS is released, I'm positive there'll be a Wii U based Direct, there isn't going to be a drought, just wait and see.
