Delayed? Did they ever give a release date besides 2015?

pretty sure at E3 they said spring 2015

Hasn't every January Direct had a special surprise announcement in it? I expect at least something like that, some release dates and new trailers. I'd be satisfied.

Assuming we'll be getting an official New 3DS announcement from this, looking forward to it :)

Hoping for a new game announcement, but mostly hoping we'll get new trailers and release dates for Splatoon & Yoshi's Wooly World.

there wasn't a janurary direct last year but 2 years ago there was a direct in janurary that had Xenoblade X, Wind Waker HD and SMT X Fire Emblem annoucements as well as kind of annoucing both 3D World and Mario Kart 8 there

Why would it take them so long to release an awful Mario Party game?

Was there a December Direct last year then? I know Hyrule Warriors was revealed sometime around then.

Interesting note; Last year, Nintendo had a similar Nintendo Direct on Feb. 13, 2014. It was also supposed to focus on Wii U and 3DS games slated for Spring 2014, just like this one for Spring 2015.

Super Smash Bros, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Bayonetta 2 all got trailers/gameplay shown even though none of them came out anywhere near Spring 2014.

I don't want anyone do be too optimistic, but I wouldn't rule out news on Zelda, Xenoblade, Star Fox, or even SMT x FE to get trailers/gameplay here. Especially Zelda and Star Fox. If those games are supposed to come out this year, we should start expecting news to come out for them more consistently.

to give some good games some breathing room like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Code Name Steam, Majora's Mask, Kirby, and Yoshi's Wolly World. and to have at least something in the summer 

(though i do expect Devils Third to be auguest  or septimber i doubt we will get a release date on the 14th)
