i posted that back in me thread about the direct before it got locked and i will say it here.

 

it most likely means nothing more then a joke but it is interesting none the less and with Miyamato's recent comments about why there is no new F-Zero i don't think a new one is in development.

These are the most convenient possible viewing hours for me. Even if I lived on the West Coast, I have to get up before 6 on work days anyway. Doing so on a day off would be a drag, but hardly inconvenient. I could go back to sleep after it ended anyway.

PS the January 2013 Direct was at the exact same time.

its probably cause there will be a media event Nintendo is gonna host a litte after the direct is done that very same day and isn't even the first time they did one around that time in fact they use to do them a lot around that time in 2013

I'm pretty sure this time is chosen because it's just about the only time that allows similtaneous same day broadcast for most of the major markets. It hits the  US across the morning, Europe and Asia from afternoon to the evening and Australia around midnight.
