Well it's not profit, there's still a lot of expenses, not to mention Sony get's paid for each game and other things. It's really tricky to figure out, either way this gen's going to be great for Sony and Microsoft for online revenue.

Not sure where you were going with this... all i was saying is that companies need to pay taxes. Taxes cut into profits. I never white knighted sony for this... nor said MS/ Nintendo do not also pay taxes.

You realize that taxes existed long before Obama... right? You make it sound like Obama went to Sony with a group of goons to extort Sony.
Well...in revenue, sure. That is a lot of money either way though.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Maybe slightly exaggerating
but yes, the profit margin is undoubtedly quite low.

considering sony hasnt made money before and could keep running its business this defentially huge extra money for them. If 40 million will be subscribed that could make away the current loses of 2 billion
A year from now when the sub number has gone up a lot then maybe. They probably want to get to a stage where it makes them 750m profit per year.
