Or... It's for the QoL platform. They could go with a cheaper and more reasonable regular LCD for the handheld, but maybe QoL demands a more radical display form factor.

I will accept anything with DUAL SCREENS. Otherwise....I probably will not get it.

It could be, but then I dojn't see how a doughnut shaped screen would work when it comes to gaming which is why I think it's more likely to be their Quality of Life products.
