How many times did Free Radicals fail before Haze or Factor 5 before lair? both had great track records.

Truth be told I jsut don't want this game jinxed by overhype. I'll settle for a nice 8/10 game.

Free Radicals are cool but in my eyes they never really lived up to Goldeneye when the key members were with Rare. Halo's launch on the original Xbox made Time Splitters seem like a blur in the memory of most when so many played Goldeneye.  The bar rose. Bayonetta 2 just got a 10/10  after having a 9/10 game. The most underrated game of the year imho. With Microsoft budget, this partnership might give them the expanded audience that they need. I dont like to overhype things, but i've never truly been let down by Platinum because I don't expect a well thought out storyline, I just expect amazing gameplay coupled with cool characters. Metal Gear Rising, Bayonetta 1 & 2, Wonderful 101, Devil May Cry, Vanquish? All Kamiya's baby's. All I need to know now is that Microsoft got in contact with Sakaguchi and my trousers will have to be replaced. Farewell...and I welcome a fresh pair. Mark my words...all I will invest in all cotton next time. There are only two hack n slash companies that are at the top in my eyes and thats Sony Santamonica and Platinum. They both make sacrifices to make the game relevant in their own ways and it works for them. I just want Platinum to finally have a hit of a game that gets them more recognition (because we all know after making two amazingly underrated games for Nintendo they more than deserve it). I hope Microsoft markets the shit out of this game as a Summer 2016 title. I no longer want it to come out in 2015, because the potential with a three year development cycle will put it beyond Bayonetta if one keeps their mind sharp to the timing and budget.

I don't think there may that much of a jump when it comes to visuals, knowing Platinum, they will try to make the game run at 60fps, and next gen visuals + open world + 60fps = impossible, so I don't expect the game to be one the best looking ones the Xbone has to offer.

By the way, I told you so! The game will come out in 2016! If it's not rushed of course. ;)

I'm now filled with determination.

And why haven't we seen gameplay from this exactly?

I guess Platinum was busy with Bayo 2 at the time.

Too busy to show a couple minutes of gameplay?

The game is AAA so I am expecting the visuals to be pushed beyond anything Platinum has ever done.

Maybe. It could be that as of right now they don't have enough to show, or the game doesn't look impressive enough to satisfy a gameplay trailer. They didn't have enough to show at E3, my guess is that they started MAJOR development ever since Bayo 2 came out, and most of Platinum's staff is just now working on it.

I do too, just don't get your expectations too high when it comes to the visuals. It'll most likely look beautiful, but I doubt it could be comparable to something like Halo 5.

Of course not. Anything more upgraded from Bayonetta 2 to me is a win. As I said, I don't expect much outside of gameplay from Platinum, but then again they've never had a AAA MS sized budget thrown at them.....ever. These guys have worked for the likes of Capcom, Nintendo and Sega. Lobb said the game is going to be huge. This is going to be different from everthing.

Hopefully, Platinum Games won't blow the chance that Microsoft gave them cause I expect as much greatness as the first Devil May Cry game cause it was much more ground breaking than Bayonetta at the time ...

Don't disappoint me now, Hideki Kamiya since the last work that I truly revered from you was Devil May Cry ...

It's time that he put his career on the line once and for all at Scalebound because of the fact that he is the director for that game, not Bayonetta 2 ...

The guy should put everything on this project like it's going to be his last ...
