Yeah that's probably it, the weasel! Superchunk should tell him he's better off getting the gamepad fixed as otherwise he'd also lose all his games for it.

Or it's probably a stolen system, and they forgot to grab the gamepad too.

It's $180 off the retail price and he clearly says it doesn't include it. Doesn't sound like a douche to me.

Its $80 off the retail price for a stand-alone 8GB Wii U. It costs $140 for a new gamepad from Nintendo or similar to more off of ebay.
