No is not a joke. The best exclusives of 2015 are going to be for Wii U as in 2014, so if now is the best, next year is even better.

Every platform (PS4,X1,WiiU,PC) has its exclusives.
All are aiming at different tastes and for a different direction.All are having a lot of variety.
But out of all of them Nintendo is the most boring especially if you play their games since the NES days.
Mario 3D World is exactly the same what i played on the NES and this goes for most of their franchises.Sorry i don't want to rescue that hoe anymore.
And to be honest their games are pretty easy and short these days.They had more appeal when i was younger and could actually fail here and there.

And to add more insight to my taste
I don't like the way of SmashBros...I rather play fighters like Street Fighter,Guilty Gear and Killer Instinct.
I don't like Mario Kart...I rather have the realistic approach of DriveClub,Forza and others.
And yes Mario Kart is fun but only if you have friends coming over.But i like to play daily and surely won't invite tons of friends with a job coming over late in the evening EVERY day to play Mario kart.If i want that i just could get the SNES out and play there.The gamepads are even cheaper there.And Mario Kart Online isn't the same as DriveClub/Forza etc online.Mario Kart is a party game and you don't have party every day but actually you want to play every day.
I don't like  to find treasures with Toad - I rather find them with Nathan Drake in Uncharted.
I never liked Kirby even though i had all of his games that were available on the SNES and Gameboy back then.

And yes i would like to play Bayonetta 2 cause i liked Bayonetta 1 but this isn't a game i would shell out 250€ for.
The only game series still making me buy a Nintendo Console is Zelda and even this time i will wait a little bit because Twilight Princess was bad and Skyward Sword was a big pile of shit.So i hope this time Nintendo isn't stupid and pushes the price for the next holidays down to what their console is worth > 100€

And coming back to only owning a WiiU and nothing else.
I play a lot and definitely want to play more than 3 games a year.
Lets look at what i could currently looking forward to if i only had a WiiU - Zelda and Xenoblade.I don't care for Yoshi,Kirby and all that other stuff anymore.
If i want to play Mario i get my N64 out and play the best one.

So Zelda and Xenoblade - Lets say each will entertain me 80 hours.160 hours for the whole year.
In 2014 i only cared for Bayonetta 2.Considering i needed less than 30 hours to do everything in Bayo1 i had like 30 hours of fun last year on the WiiU...amazing.

I will already play more than that in January,February and March on my PS4
Resident Evil HD(funny the WiiU doesn't get that right?),Dying Light for Coop,Evolve,THe Order,Dragonball,Bloodborne,FFType0 and all those things coming over the whole year 2015.
Hell i will play again probably 500+ games in 2015 of the new Fifa together with 4 friends in the evening.Creating our own player and club and playing against others.I can't do that on the WiiU.I can't even play the ultra mainstream games on there...i mean wtf?

If you really only play 3 games per year and are fine with missing out games like Witcher 3,Metal Gear Solid,Persona 5,FF15+KH3 and so on then have fun.
But i would rather live in a world missing out on 2 games(Xenoblade and Zelda) instead of 30+ games.And FF15 > Xenoblade anyway.
This is the truth and Nintendo Fans should accept that.The PS4,X1 and PC have a much bigger library and constant stream of new games from all sources while the WiiU has...mostly well what their own studios can pump out.
I will buy a WiiU around christmas and thats mainly cause of nostalgia for Zelda.I can understand (younger) people not caring for the WiiU or rather Nintendo anymore if they don't have nostalgia for any of their franchises.In a scenario with only the WiiU you simply cut yourself off from tons of games which will never even have a chance of coming to that console.
The WiiU at best is your 2nd console adding a little bit MORE of variety to the library you prefer overall.
I surely wouldn't want to miss out on the 3rd Party library 2015 is already promising us currently.

It doesn´t make it worse, I understand their point, but not agree, at the end of the day exclusives make a console, ps4 and One are just weak PCs with the same games, they are so forgettable, if you play with PC you are not going to want a ps4 or a One... ever. WiiU has something unique, by now is the one with the best exclusives, no question about it, and 2015 looks better on it´s library than 2013 or 2014 so.... Yeah, is the best console of this generation, no doubts for me, and the main reason of its sales is not having a powerfull hardware, THAT´S ALL, because even if Wii U had Gta V or the new Cods (the main reason for like the 50% of players today to buy a console) they wouldn´t play it on WiiU, because is not as powerfull as the other so is not cool, and  graphics are everything today for the market. So it doesn´t matter if it doesn´t have the same games as ps4, One and PC have, because nobody wants to play it on a Wii U so... lack of third party support is not an argument for me, people want quantity... ok... I want quality. And the classic of this generation is going to be WiiU, I don´t see any reasons to ps4 and One to be remembered, but i´m sure WiiU will be.

Oh it will be remembered alright.   It will be remembered as the worst selling Nintendo home console of all time.  Nintendo went from their best selling to their worst in one generation.  I feat that will never be repeated.

You're missing my point entirely. Although I wasn't being 100% serious, my point is that people like to stick with things they are familiar with. Most people left from the 7th gen were more casual gamers that only spent time on games like CoD and Battlefield, and they immediately transfered over to the 8th gen so they could play these same games with superior graphics. They're afraid of trying something new to them. They prefer to play just FPS games, and I'm not saying there's anything inherently wrong with that, but it's the truth.

I have all 3, but to answer your questions from my point of view, I must play Dragon Age, The Witcher, Bloodbourne, Quantum Break, Uncharted, and I had a lot of fun with Destiny. None of these are on the WiiU and 3rd party support will get worse overtime.

To me the WiiU is an excellent side console and a poor main console (unless you ONLY care about Nintendo games, but most want more than that).
