Forums - Gaming - How to get a Wii U (simple guide)

Life taught me to get Nintendo console first, because their games price rarely drops. And after that get another console, and buy the games for $10.

Lol pretty much what I do. I only really buy Nintendo games at launch because I know I'm probably not going to save any money by waiting. Other games: Steam sales.

Step 1 (alternative) spend the money on great games like Dragon Age, farcry4, alien isolation or The evil within and delay your Wii U purchase a little more.

Or ditch the Evil Within and get Zombi U, a much better survival horror game.

I hope that you have played both and aren't basing your suggesstion just because Zombi U is a Wii U exclusive.

Played both. I would say the Evil Within is mismarketed (it's more of an anction-horror game). But Zombi U gives a much better horror experiance to my reckoning.

Re: Step 1... what if we don't want to spend $$$ on overhyped and somewhat unfinished games like SSB or just plain don't really care about games like that?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Well with PC and Xbone you also have the choice of playing Nintendo games through your preferred platform. Still need to get a Wii U system but that's a small price to pay for the privilege of playing fabulous Nintendo games "on" your PC/Xbone.

You can always buy the non-hyped, well polished, day one full  content gems like AC Unity, BF4, Watch_Dogs, Desntiny.

I don't like kid friendly games so I don't buy them, and I don't like Mario and friends so I also don't buy them. I don't hate on stuff, I just ignore them instead, and I buy something I like.

Forgot the most crucial one:

1.) Wait for another price cut.
2.) Contemplate.
