Of course they would delay it, it's obviously over they initial expectations and it still being in preorder just prove they want sell as much as they can as well as shipping the most. It can be better this way than making so much people have to wait for the pre-orders to come because they had not enough. This way it seems better as everyone is going to get it at the same time within the release date (the new one), not only weeks after it released. |
Sony planned to ship 200K consoles annually to China. Even if they dump all 200K of them in one go, Sony will still not be able to meet demand. Preorder numbers are already really high and Sony also needs to take into account the consumers who have not preordered the console yet.
