Dude, people bought PS4 for The Playroom. They wouldn't have bought it without it. At least, that's the vibe I'm getting from the logic in this thread, pertaining to certain perspectives.


Well, that's unfair. The main selling point of the Wii was its motion controlls, and Wii Sports showcased them wonderfully. Without the game, Wii wouldn't have sold as much. There are a lot of Wii owners that only have one game: Wii Sports.

The Playroom needs the PS4 camera to function. That alone restricts the game to the number of cameras sold. Also, I'm sure noone bought a PS4 plus camera to play only one game, thing that did happen with the wii and wii sports.



You know it deserves the GOTY.

I got Super Mario bundled with my NES as a kid. I got Wii Sports bundled with my Wii U. Bought GTA V for my 360.
on its own. Seems like what most did.

Oh, well, it seems that making PS4 and xone versions has payed off.

Since GTA first existed just excludes Super Mario Bros out of the top 5. Top 8 Mario games released after GTA outsell the entire franchise. 

 

Nearly 7 games, just 1 million off.

Super Mario Bros. was bundled with every NES, so it should be disqualified just like Wii Sports was.

No it wasn't. Plus, people didn't bought an NES for mario, not the other way around. 

I should have added the North American qualifier, but yes. The two SKUs available both contained Super Mario Bros.
