PS4 software in general is really overtracked. Sony has said that PS4 total software INCLUDING digital is 81 million as of 4th of january.

Wrong thread? Not really relevant to my question.

It's not relevant that we know that both of these titles very likely are overtracked?

Oh-kee doh-kee!

We're talking about whether GTA V can overtake CoD AW. Whether they are both overtracked or not. So no, your comment was just really weird.

Holy shit GTA V on PS4 sold almost 5M? What the hell...GTA 6 is going to be crazy.

Well, think about it this way... GTA 5 on PS3 and 360 by itself posted numbers beyond anything that COD is capable of doing. GTA is of the highest pedigree performance wise.

Probably because it will have better legs than Advanced Warfare.

Probably but since when was GTA annual?, I remember GTA IV being released back in 2008 which was a good time back, COD releases annually and can fail now and then, I can see COD selling a decent amount this gen, sure GTA V will sell a lot (PC release will cause a big surge I can imagine) but over the next 5 more years there will be more COD games by then and they can fail or probably sell quite well, after 5 more years I can imagine seeing GTA VI by then if possible.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I think he's just talking about Advanced Warfare vs GTA V on PS4, not the whole franchise.

It's just that I think it's really hard to give an answer when I know that the numbers we have are probably way off.

But okay, yeah, I think it could.

Most likely yeah, I'd see that happening.

I hope not.
