Here is a game database suggestion (I know a new one is under way, so maybe this can be incorporated). Make it so when you submit a game the default system is blank. When submitting the game, a check should be done and if the system hasn't been changed off of blank it pops up a box telling you have to enter something into the field.

I think we had 5 3DO games added recently that belonged to a different system. I was responsible for 1

How about a forum that we could use to trade/buy/sell used games among ourselves?

I like a lot of these ideas, I'm not sure how many of them will actually be possible to put in but I'll boil it down to a list early next week and put 'em up for discussion with ioi and the rest of the staff.

In the "my games" section of our profile, there is no way to un-prioritize a game. So you can't temporarily prioritize a game to raise its profile a little.

Suggestion: Ability to remove priority status from games in the "my games" section.

^^^ ioi already said that he was going to make it so you could organize your game collection, but for now we can use the prioritize. I would imagine he will implement whatever he is thinking about instead of messing around with a hack of a system.

one way would to place text boxes below each game that we can stick a number in, then it would sort based on that number. This would allow complete control over the games collection.

In the Hot topic section:
Each topic title could be split into two links. Click on the first half of the thread title and be taken to the first page. Click on the second half of the thread title and be taken to the last page.

This would give people the option of reading a thread from the beginning (when first viewing it) or going straight to the recent additions.

I don't know anything about coding sites but is there anyway ioi can introduce a "merge games" facility. Users could suggest merges in the same way we add games with mods then confirming the merge and deciding the details eg which boxart to use, etc. That way all users with the games in their profiles would still have them displayed and the database would get a much- needed clean up without causing anyone to lose games from their collection as they do if a game is deleted.

Hi, I've 2 ideas to submit :
- First, adding a calendar, so that people can easily check which games will be released in the coming weeks in each region, without having to go to another website.
- Second, make VGChartz available in other languages, at least the basics like spanish, french, german. It's just a matter of translating the UI and the news when they're released. I'm pretty sure we have enough translators for that.
