So, is it really overtracked? I get the situation is bleak, and Japanese numbers are down YoY, but I witnessed the numbers last year and this year, and went back to check. Numbers were similar at the beginning, but it was still pumping out 30k compared to the 20k it had last year weekly. Also DK boost in Feb. must of put it at least 20k above the normal last year. I get that LEGO City and Monster Hunter probably did some numbers we didn't get early Spring this year, but not by that much. And then Mario Kart 8's launch, where it sold 130k when it launched and kept a 60k baseline until the bundle ended, and still kept above 50k for a while in August. The highest Wii U reached last summer was when Pikmin 3 launched, and it was only 30k. Wii U was doing double that half the summer with Mario Kart while Pikmin saw a little boost for one week. Also Smash brought sales up a little bit this holiday, so how is Wii U 2014 just now past 2013 numbers?
3,218,652 is the number listed on the yearly tab right now. This makes no sense
Also remember Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 did more than the absolute nothing last year. I believe WWHD did beat out them in October though, but still.
