Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Virtual Boy

3DS in essence is in itself, I feel, is a spiritual successor to Virtual Boy. With a possible rise of of virtual gaming in the Playstation as well as Microsoft's, will we ever see a relaunch of Virtual Boy, or some sort of fusion console with 3DS and/or possibly with Wii U? Perhaps even as an add-on?

Is there any way where we can expect Nintendo to integrate virtual reality on any of their console in the future?

Please explain your thoughts.

[As an fyi, I once was a Virtual Boy owner, and the single game I had on it was Wario Land. I no longer own the system but wished I had kept it as a collection.]

Seems like you played the only game worth playing on it then...

Probably not unless VR is that successful

I own a Virtual Boy and the only form I would like to see one 'come back' in is if VB games are added to the 3DS VC.

The 3DS is basically a well executed Virtual Boy.

I consider 3DS as a fusion between the Gameboy and Virtual Boy.

How do you compare the 3DS to Virtual Boy?

XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC

Besides the controls, how can you not?
