People should be happy the mediocre game got the score it did.

It pisses me off that this game can score high but Devil May Cry can't.

8.5 is a great score, but the game deserves so much more.
Hell i'd even go as far as give it a 10.

(But i might be biased since i always loved God Of War)

Devil may cry has better combat than god of war, but other parts of the game like presentation, story, and puzzles are worse than god of war's. Overall i give the edge to god of war.

Devil May Cry has better gameplay, better art direction, and more depth.

Tht sounds like a better game to me hands down.

NSMB is just a remake with many improvements, it is better than the original and Mario Kart DS is the first game to contain Wi-Fi and is so far the Mario Kart with more circuit and also has several new types of games.

See, if you would read my "I Hate Reviewers" thread, you would know all about how Gamespot and IGN should not be counted in overall critical reviews, because of their tendance to "make a statement".

Simply, gamespot deducts a lot of points from games for being to similar to their predecessors. Lets hope Brawl doesnt' take a hit like GoW did, from those asses.
