2014 hasn't been too expensive, but i haven't had much free time this year. Said lack of free time has resulted in PS+ swamping my back log lol... I've had to actively avoid Steam sales so the list doesn't get any longer.

Unfortunately not as much as I've wanted. I spent most of my money this year on strippers and booze.

Let's see.
3DS:
Fire emblem 40
Animal Crossing 40

First thread of the year to make everyone feel bad, a few people have spent quite a bit

Around the Network

Easily over 1k, I mean I dropped about $200 on Employee Appreciation day alone at GameStop buying a PS Vita and like 5 games for it.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Probably around $1000 but that's mainly cause I bought a Wii U and X1, which together cost around $700. The $300 I spent on games is the amount I usually spend every year.

There was a thread made about a year ago about gaming spending for the year of 2014, so how much was your grand total for the year?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My total software costs 2014 were €1400 ($1700), so a bit over a hundred € per month on average... as usual:

Hardware spendings in 2014 year: €1200 ($1500), so a hundred € per month on average:

  • €266 for a Wii U Premium + accessories: €200 main console (€226€, but I counted €26 for the included Nintendo Land) + €5 adapter + €23 high capacity battery + €38 Wii U Pro controller... with 100% compatibility, i was able to sell my old Wii for €33; remaining costs are €233
  • €370 for a PS4: €504 for the Killzone-Bundle, but I sold the included camera, second gamepad and Killzone: Shadow Fall (after playing it for some weeks)... with the €115 profit of my sold-through Launch-PS4 (my most wanted games got delayed, so I could wait for the Killzone-bundle), remaining costs are €255
  • €189 for a Kindle Fire HDX 64GB tablet
  • €49 for a Kindle FireTV (mainly for video streaming, but I will try some Android games with controller support on it, too)
  • €25 for a SteelSeries gaming mouse (my 8 year old Microsoft Habu got connection problems)
  • €290 for a GTX 970 graphic card... I sold my 3 year old GTX 580 for €94; remaining costs are €196
  • €199 for a Windows tablet (Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 8, Windows 8.1 (x86), 64 GB)

Around $565 CAD. Down from $970 in 2013. Projecting under $300 for this year with self imposed rule of only buying 6-7 games.

$10,000 probably. I don't even know what I buy sometimes. Packages surprise me in the mail almost every week. I've also spent a lot on my digital collection. 1TB of 360 games.
