Wow, i knew they were doing well, but to have the same market share as Disney shows the power of Nintendo franchises. I look forward to the next financials from Nintendo.

Damn!!! Hopefully, it will only get bigger from here! Go Amiibo

GO GO AMIIBO! Truly impressive

Initial rush, which is also fueled by the looming fear of "If I don't get this thing now, I might not be able to get it ever".

Still good for Nintendo though.

That fear is brilliant.

Genius move by Nintendo to make these, tbh. The fact that they're selling on par with Disney Infinity with only one platform is pretty impressive.

Since when?? The amiibo launch?? Skylanders launch?? These things are obviously important.

Don't really understand the appeal of amiibo from a video game perspective, they only have a worthwhile use in SSB, in other games they unlock items that gamers are used to getting for free as pre-order bonuses such as costumes and weapons.  Not to mention Nintendo restricted them so they can only save data from one game, so if another game gets a worthwhile use like SSB youll have to delete your SSB saved data.

Wait just this holiday or the entire year? If just this holiday it's still impressive since they just released but if you're comparing the Amiibos, which just launched 11-21-14 to these other characters who have been out the entire year, then that's really impressive. Of course, if you're comparing it to their entire time selling, then this percentage is ridiculous!
