What shits me with Windows 10 is that they will drop support for Windows 7 as soon as this comes out.

nope. MS has too many corporate clients to do such things. Windows XP support finally ended this year.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Windows has no taste, I'm moving to Apple. Either that or I'll install Ubuntu. I just hate Windows now, especially with 8. They lost me after 7 and wait...WAS THERE EVEN AN 9!?

Not to mention it only came out 5 years ago (vs 13 years for XP), and still makes up 50%+ of the OS market. MS would have to be completely nuts to drop support any time soon.

They have stated that they will support Win 7 to 2020 (minimum)

Yea no way they drop windows 7 that soon everyone company I've worked for is still using it and my company just upgraded lasy year and has no intetions to go to windows 8.

It's funny because I work in IT and all of my family memebers come to me for help. I literally have given some free hardware to keep their machines running some I get from spare parts at work or some just laying around. The ones who switched to Mac immediately got dropped because I'm not going to learn how to fix a Mac just for them when I do it all for about $25. One of them told me they're going back to windows cause they've spent almost $1000 getting it repaired. The others said it wasn't worth it cause whenever they have issues they have no one to help them like before.
