From what I have heard this game is a lot of fun! I would try it out but I'm kind of a penny pincher unless it's a game that I must have. I think the sales are well deserved.

STOPPING making hardcore games for xbox and PS3, unless when you say "hardcore" you mean "good, decent" games.

And god, for 5 million seller, there must be more deserving games than this. :(

I've said it before, I'll say it again, even more important than Mario & Sonic, is that people see this as an equivilant to Wii Sports 2. But put those four factors together (Mario, Sonic, Wii Sports play, Olympics) this is an huge title and it will continue to sell well for the life of the Wii (and do well on DS too).

I expect it to top 10m easily between the two versions lifetime.

Oh yes SEGA.I can't wait for your brilliant PS360 hardcore-games that will sell millions & millions of copies,because of their unbeliveable quality.

Amazing that they actually hit their targets. Took alot of balls to make such a prediction way back then. If anything it should bring in some money for SEGA to continue making games regardless of sucking or not the more games the better.

I'm not sure why so many of you are bitter by their comment >_>; you want more hardcore games on the Wii, yet THIS TITLE SELLS 5 MILLION X.X. Honestly if business really is business, I wouldn't bother making anything hardcore on the Wii :/ RE4 sells 1 million, this... sells 5 >_>; Granted, 1 million is still a success, but then almost every decently rated "hardcore" game on the 360 and PS3 sell that and change :/

Those 2 characters wont last! they're to funky! A Hedgehog and a Plumber whodathunk! still not my cup of tea but I would recommend it for families and kids! safe and fun what a concept!

the nex version's has mario going ebonics witha a few F-bombs! that will get a mature rating!

Well, VF5 is a great game, and Valkyria of the Battlefield looks really promising, so the can still make great games, it's just that they make a load of crap too. PS360 Sonic was a travesty which should never have got through testing. So many bugs and issues with that game.
