With the good response to Sci-fi films, I think Metroid would be a great option to be a full length film. Zelda would be a good choice as well because of the story and whatnot. But out of the two the Legend of zelda would probably do better at the box office.

Metroid for me. but hey a smash bros movie would be bad ass.
They would butcher Zelda so bad it would ruin the entire series.
Mario Hoops, a.k.a. White Marios Can't Jump.
Metroid would work well as a movie.
The Legend of Zelda would work better as a TV series, to suit the pacing of exploring dungeons better.
Metroid and Fire Emblem could be cool...
I also think F-Zero could be awesome if done right...
