i badly want to say Fire Emblem, but there's enough movies like that, Metroid is the better choice.

Metroid could be really an incredible sc-fi movie.

Metroid, Fire Emblem or Xenoblade.

Metroid if done right would be loved by both gamers and feminist if done right (See: Not Other M)

I think Fire Emblem, Star Fox, and Earthbound would also work.

Also Super Smash Brothers would be like The Avengers if Nintendo made multiple successful movies.

I'd like a Fire Emblem movie, because of how the main character can talk and interact with others and the games usually have some pretty good stories.

Zelda or Metroid.

The former is likely to be a terrible idea. The latter could make interesting Sci-fi.

Metroid & Star Fox could do well as films I think. Metroid being a more gritty suspense/sci-fi like Alien and Star Fox being a more family-friendly adventure sci-fi movie. Like people mentioned earlier, the two games actually have dialogue so the characters actually have a decent amount of personality to build upon and work with in a film.

Definitely Metroid. It's the only one that could have an awesome, cinematic movie and sacrifice nothing from the games. Especially if it was heavy on the isolation and action and light on the dialogue. Just a movie about Samus fighting her way off some planet. It would be way too cool.

Also, as I'm sure a lot of people will point out, there are like six thousand Pokemon movies. They just don't all come to theaters in America.

Fire Emblem, it fits perfectly. IMO Zelda/Metroid would be a terrible idea because of silent protagonists that I never want to see talking (again in the case of Samus).
