As i said there, only a minority of players buy 2 versions. You said yourself, it is not justifiable, so why would anyone do it or Nintendo count with that happening? You can just trade your pokemons in the GTS and get those you want, even the legendary.

 

Having two versions is a smart marketing decision. It encourage players to look out for other players, creating a community around the game and that helps not only the sales but also the longevity of the game. It is a very good strategy and without prejudice to anyone.

Well user scores of exclusives are lower on xbox and ps because that's where all the hate is. Fan boys from both sides come to lower the user score. Don't really know of any ps fan boys and Xbox can boys that hate the wii u



Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65) 

Wii u: 20 milliion

Anyway each page has a 100 entries. The PS3 hits 85 meta halfway down the second page (about 150 tiltes in total), while the Wii hits 85 at just 38 titles. The PS3 had 4 times as many games rated above 85 than the Wii, I wont be surprised if the PS4 does the same.

In typical fanboy fashion this was dismissed, "quantity != quality" and similar nonense was used as an excuse. We can do this again at the end of (or even mid way through ) gen 8 and I expect similar lame dismissals.

People saying Nintendo is pathetic or silly to use Metacritic are completely ridiculous, almost to the point of making me betray my profile pic.

Nintendo using the most popular score aggregate to advertise that thier games score high? HOW STRANGE.
