They could just show a screenshot and have the guy talk about his vision or something. Theyve done that even for tech demos before...

Beyond: Two Souls is not great news. i did enjoy Heavy Rain but this game suck.

They might not have wanted to overshadow or distract the momentum building up for Bloodborne / The Order 1886 as well.

Like 2 months before launch and they throw in another new IP into the mix maybe?

and I doubt a big publisher is going to give them much money at this point...

Well maybe the sales paid for the salaries of Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe...

They do alot of research and tech demos. I dont think Sony or any other publisher are interested in investing much in them right now.
