The Irish Universal Unemployment system Aka the dole - Creating famous people since 19digidy6.

In other news, once this man is famous, watch the Irish crowds begrudge him his fame. I've even seen them doing it to Hozier, the script, Katie Taylor, U2, Roseanna Davidson and the likes. It'll be " that fella thinks he's brilliant" to which I usually respond " but he is". I then get an ear full about "sure he only got to where he is because of *enter random bullshite here*. Once you try to defend an Irish successful artist or individual from the awesome/awful power of begrudgery you'll receive the usual i.e "sure, look at, he/she/they are just a gobshite mouth piece. Not sure who they think they are". This is when you face palm and walk away.

Some irish are really negative and others really negative.  You're like an unusual mix of the two where you're negative about the moaners :p

Are you staying up to watch it? I think it's on bt sport

Who in ireland begrudges Katie Taylor???

I want to see him get destroyed by Aldo (my favorite ufc fighter). Until then, I am a huge fan of his.

He is definitely filling the role that my man Chael left when he..."left" the UFC.

This list is well past the 100 mark at this point.  Where other nationalities  are prioud of their heroes, the Irish like to "take them down a peg or 7". It'll be " that fella thinks he's brilliant" to which I usually respond " but he is". I then get an ear full about "sure he only got to where he is because of *enter random bullshite here*. Out of that list the only one that a lot of people begrudge is U2. Mostly because they are shit now and Bono is an idiot. The rest are fine. The worse I have heard about Katie is that she sounds a bit mentally deficit when she speaks sometimes as she tries to make her accent clearer. Funnily enough Connor also does this at times when speaking.

You will find people in every country that do not like to see other people doing better than themselves. That's not an irish trait at all.

Paddy the hooligan hoolahan starting us off with a win. I've no idea how good pendreds oponent is but hopefully he'll follow that up with a second irish win.

Edit: Dunno how this ended up here XD

ffs i fell asleep and woke up after the fight. anyone see it?

Yeah he completely dominated Sivir, utilizing his reach. Fought as you might expect, picking apart his opponent with accurate shots. Sivir actually managed one or two takedowns, but Mcgregor sprang straight back to his feet both times. As they entered the second round Sivirs face was busted up and starting to swell. Mcgregor was landing a left jab again and again, and in the second round Sivir fell against the cage from one, Mcgregor mounted him and started landing some heavy elbows. Herb had seen enough and waved it off.
