The thing under tracked there is the dreamcast.

Yeah acutally, I thought the DC sold over 10 million units.

Just barely, but official numbers are about 10.6M.

VGC is really bad at retro-consoles, which is weird. All SEGA consoles plus at least the Atari 2600 and the PS1 have incorrect figures here...

That's very much a non sequitur. For Wii, Europe numbers were about 75% of North America numbers. For Gamecube, on the other hand, it was 35% of NA numbers. In between (chronologically) was the DS, which had Europe at over 90% of NA. Simply put, it's entirely possible for it to be doing better in one market, and worse in another. What's more, if we use Wii proportions as a guide, then Wii U is very much undertracked in Europe, since it's currently only at 51% of NA (and there's no official number releases for Europe except Nintendo's own, since the only people who directly track Europe don't release their numbers, even via leaks, most of the time).

That you're trying to assert "overtracked" by such a nonsense argument says quite a bit about you, though.

Wii was an anomaly, that's pretty agreed upon, just by seeing at US' of WiiU sales it's easy to see why it would perform worse everywhere else, to think that WiiU can do 51% of NA in Europe is completely preposterous, even doing what the NGC did it's nuts, that console was sold at at a competitive price and had plenty of support from third parties, stuff like racing and football games weren't rare on the console, the same can't be said about the WiiU.

Using Wii proportions as a guide for WiiU's sales says a lot about you too.
