Forums - Gaming - BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend Announced ( ps3, ps4 Xbone )

In a little preview snippet for this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, it’s been revealed that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend has been announced for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

As far as new content in the inevitable Extend version of the game goes, console players will get to play as Celica Ayatsuki Mercury and Lambda-11, two characters that were added to the arcade version of the game in its 2.0 update.

Famitsu also shared that the game will have some additional story elements for the game as well.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will release in Japan on April 23, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Boo!

But glad I didn't buy the Vita version just yet, since I knew this was coming.

You think they want to lose out on 10k potential sales?

I'm more thinking about how much it costs to convert the game really. I've no idea but I guess if they see it being worth it then fair enough.

Hmm, pie.

Around 3 Xbox users will buy it.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

The reason you put it on Xbox is because of the eventual western sales.  Lets also not act like Japan pushes huge numbers on either console

I was responding to the "XBone...in Japan" comment. It makes no sense to release it in Japan. As you can see, Continuum Shift sold ~20k in Japan on 360, which had at least 20 times the install base of XB1. I would be surprised if this version managed 10k lifetime on XB1.

As for sales in the west, they'll be much more lopsided towards PS now than they were before for obvious reasons (360 was ahead of PS3 in the west; PS4 is way ahead of XB1 in the west already)

The game is going to be in the West at some point correct?  I cant imagine it costing much to port the game considering it doesnt take a ton to make the game in the first place.  Itll also make it easier to bring it to the West if its already made.

Japanese games dont sell well on Xbox in Japan but they sell decently (often) in the west which is the perk of having it on both consoles, and any kind of bonus copies sold is good for smalller games like this
