Given US was 36% (6.7m NPD, of 18.5m WW Sony) end of 2014. That suggests PS4 was an average of no more than 140k a week.

Obviously sales were likely not an even throughout the month, higher towards the start than the end.

However you swing it tho, pretty much confirms this prediction untrue.

Wouldn't have saved it regardless. If XB1 didn't maintain a decent baseline after launch week, whilst PS4 may have fared better it still wouldn't be great. Definitely not 40k a week lol
