Not sure what the Chinese like but I think Freedom Wars will be a good launch title over there and it beats anything they have on mobile.

Yes. I'd imagine the market in china is for handhelds. They're tablet and phone nuts and often live in small cramped apartments. The New 3ds and Vita will be the big success stories in China.

The Vita has no big games in the west. In Japan there is a huge abundance of compelling retail releases and its only getting better in 2015.
Off the top of my head, I think these old japanese titles could do well

God Eater 2
Swords Arts Online
Gundam 
One Piece Ulimate Warrios 
J-star Victory

Most kids are not permitted to play video games by their parents(at least not more than 10 hours/week depends on your parents),  a handheld is perfect for bed/bus gaming without parents'/teachers' awareness.

This is what I believe as well which is why I can see the Vita will sell much better than PS4.
