Are you saying the 1,59 million people that bought Dark Souls 2 are unique individuals admist 2,88 that bought Dark Souls 1?

Unfortunately, Square Enix is in no position to do that. 

Really only the hardcore gamer would know that bloodborne is related to darksouls.

The only genre I feel is weak for exclusives on playstation is FPS they really dont have a mass market shooter. I may be wrong but they do well with must other genres?

I might be wrong, but I was under the impression, that only "harcore" gamers played Souls games? :)


You are right, FPS has always been a hard one for Sony.

I guess they've also got the JRPG crowd. And pretty much the majority of Western Japanese fans in general.

Sony shoulda just got exclusivity for MGS since the series sells poorly on Xbox, but they missed that oppourtunity.

I'd prefer for it to stay multiplat, since it went that route. 

Unless it's a Bayo 2 situation, What is the point of a multiplat going exclusive? It may be a big win for the platform that secured it. 

But as a gamer, we definitely are on the losing side if we are a one-console gamer.
