"In commemoration of Playstations 20th Anniversary over 107 developers will leave a comment about Playstation in the coming 3 weeks. NIS left a peculiar one:

Nippon Ichi Software (Shinkawa Sohei):If Disgaea 5 doesn't sell as planned then we might not still be in business the year after. Even though Bloodborne is now releasing the same day, we really hope people will pick up both titles at once.

It was stated earlier this year that the company is targeting 150k copies of Disgaea 5. May God help their poor souls."

P.S: Would be cool if someone could find a link to the comments of the devs.

150k copies for Disgaea is enough to keep them afloat? 4 sold half a million, no reason why this can't.

Hell even the two on the vita sold 110k, and the other 240k at retail.

Hopefully they're able to hit that target. 150k seems very doable on the PS4.

The PS4 isnt killing its 1st dev, its gamers. We dont buy, theyre gone. The PS4 has already provided more than enough userbase for them to succeed. Its now up to gamers to purchase their game.....if they fall, its on the current PS4 owners :P

Well actually it'd really be the developers fault for creating a product that has no demand.

I knew I hated you for a reason =P

But seriously these guys have made a few games in a row that have sold quite poorly. Theyve really struggled to find anything outside of Disgaea that can sell and so of course they need Disgaea to sell to stay afloat. Also 150k seems odd, are they talking Japan only here?? Because thats asking a bit.
