They want to believe their raids are so hard that you can only complete them with a group of close friends using amazing communication, so no matchmaking.

The reality is anyone who can watch a YT video of it being run through can then go and beat them without saying a word.

It just pisses me off I wont even be able to see the end of the story without doing a lot of legwork outside of the game.  They could've made it a side-quest that still pertained to the story, but wasn't the main goal.

Personally, I think they are trying to make people who own the game get their friends to buy it so they can do raids together.  Instead it leaves a lot of people alienated.

They removed your ability to do weekly strikes and removed engrams from strike playlists unless you are on the DLC-only difficulty. So that's 2 things they removed.

Maybe they add a vanilla strike back to the heroic/nightfall rotation next week. Maybe not.

Idk why they would remove engrams from all the other playlists on a temporary basis. Just puzzling.

It does require a lot of work. I would recommend websites like DestinyLFG, or even fucking GameFAQS to find a raid group. That's how I got to 30 on Xbone, as only a couple of my friends had the game.

My biggest problem with the game is that if you don't have a bunch of friends who can play at the same time as you that you can't do a lot of the game.  I'm 36.  I only have 2 friends that own PS4s and neither own Destiny.  Apparently I'm supposed to go on message boards to find people to do raids and strikes with.  Why are they trying to make it harder for me?  You can't even finish the story in the DLC unless you do the raid.  So I'll probably never get to see the ending.

I hate the lock-out for the raids. I'm a busy college student, so I can only play the game randomly and with random people. Raids are thus impossible for me. It's infuriating and simply stupid that they won't implement match-making on one of the most important game modes.

Yup, I got two kids, ages 2 and 3.  The only time I have is from about 10pm till I go to sleep, and I have to work the next morning.  I managed to get on a raid team once, we started around 9:30...since we were all first-timers, it was still going at 2:30 am when I had to leave.  So now I have deserter guilt.  I'll probably never get on another raid team...

Is that supposed to be some kind of a bad joke?!

Does Activision/Bungie have the time to explain themselves?

Please for making me sure to never touch this thing.

I'm now filled with determination.

The joke is that this is not a joke.
