Yamamoto is hit or miss. He strikes gold in some areas but then falls in others. He's really good at remixing songs though.

I personally like some Kirby music especially bosses as i believe they have some of the best. Fire Emblem has some memoriable ones. The game your playing (Awakening) has this one thats so F***ing good. I'll post it here if i find it.

Pokemon has good music. Mario does too, but i think Zelda Tops it though the composer of Xenoblades music has done great work (Attack on Titan OST and many others).

I forgot DK has some good music especially the older games and Tropical Freeze!

You are thinking of Xenoblade X's composer. 

 

Xenoblade had ACE +, Yoko Shimomura, and Yasunori Mitsuda. 

Shimomura worked on the Mario RPG series, Kingdom Hearts, and the original Street Fighter 2

Mitsuda worked on Chrono Trigger, Cross, and the Xenosaga/gears series. He only did the ending theme of blade though.
