It's already December, and that means only a few weeks left before the Animal Crossing Plaza service comes to an end. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's downloaded and enjoyed Animal Crossing Plaza! And to those of you who haven't – why not take this final chance? Animal Crossing Plaza will remain available on Nintendo eShop until 22nd December 2014.

The end of the Animal Crossing Plaza service also means that after 31st December the monthly themed surveys will stop, and it will no longer be possible to post to the Animal Crossing Series Community. From next year on, you will only be able to view existing posts in the community. So, please take the chance to post to your heart's content in the coming days, and be sure to vote in the final survey, which will decide who was the neighbour of the year in 2014!

Even though you won't be able to post to the community anymore, you will still be able to visit all your favourite characters in the plaza after the service finishes, as long as you have already downloaded Animal Crossing Plaza. So be sure to drop by whenever it takes your fancy – don't be a stranger!

I would totally buy a WiiU just for Animal Crossing. Seriously, I already bought a 3DS just for Animal Crossing! Guess which one? Oh yeah, the Animal Crossing Edition.

I think we can be sure that there will be an Animal Crossing game for the WiiU. Since the Gamecube Nintendo always make a version of it for every console and that´s a huge franchice. Heck! Last AC or a home console sold 4,5 million copies.

I never played an Animal Crossing game, I really don't understand what I have to do in it, aside from collecting stuff.

I've always enjoyed the handhelds ones the most. I loved the GC one but then the DS one came out and it was so much more enjoyable to me. Then City folk came out and disappointed me, only to be destroyed by New Leaf. This is the first time that I think I'm more excited for a console one than a handheld one though simply because of the online potential in the Wii U one.

based off sales it looks like a handheld franchise now. if there is a wii u one next year I imagine it will be released alongside a 3ds version and theyll be the same game. im thinking new leaf ultimate kind of thing.

True dat, I m wonder how big the town will be this time around! 

I just want an Animal Crossing World or AC: Universe where we all live in the same world, but just different towns within that world, but there are intertown rivalries, competitions, elections, etc that make us all feel ubber connected. If we can't have an AC MMO, at LEAST give us that Nintendo!
