Forums - Sony - PS4 sells are a curse.

This has to be a joke thread.

- Knack
- Driveclub
- Bloodborne
- The order
- Drawn to death
- Kill strain

Are all new IPs, and those are just the ones we know of right now. If I added all the rumored new IPs to that list it will fast exceed 12 titles. There has never been a single generation where sony doesn't introduce at least 4-5 new IPs. Its kinda their calling now, unless of course you know nothing about playstation.

Or are you one of those types of people whose dog got jackhammer raped by sony?

But most of those Ips are not good (only Bloodborne and possible until dawn). Sony only made them because they didn't know how well the ps4 will do. Now they are seeing how their console is doing their is almost no incentive to take huge risks. PS3 they had to because they were hurting. The ps2 era was easier to make games because it is cheap to make.

Lel. Like, really, top lel.

It's funny because it is true huh.

It's funny because they aren't out yet, and we haven't even seen that much of them, apart from Bloodborne, Until Dawn and The Order.

So yeah, your "knowledge" of the quality of these game is quite laughable.

Oh come on. Sony is willing to show a joke of a game called the order 1886 and yet they won't show the other games. Thats a huge hint. Bloodborne looks good however.

They don't have to risk making new ips or new video games because their console will sell a lot no matter what. What made the PS3 awesome was all the new ips. Now Sony is seeing PS4 selling well without much games they will just shurg their shoulder and make the same GT, Uncharted, god of war games. Why would Sony take a risk anymore?

Bloodborne, Hellblade, No Man's Sky, GG new IP, MM new IP, Sucker Punch new IP, and everyone else is too.  There is nothing to worry about.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

I'm guessing you haven't read any of the brand new impressions of the game? Have you seen the updated build of the game? Let me help you with that, plenty of screenshots + an IGN impression video here - http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=194682&page=1#

Yes that's a shameless plug =P

Are you just going to ignore the post where I listed 14 high-quality first-party games of the PS2 era? =P

I think the op might be slightly envious of the ps4 success. Sounds like he might be trying to stealth downplay it.
Just look at ps1 and ps2, tons of games all throughout those gens. Jak and daxter, sly Cooper, gran turismo, god of war, and more.

Now that ps4 is claiming its huge success it's predecessors had, I have absolutely no worries or doubts it'll have as many amazing game during its lifetime.

*somethingsomething*development*something something*E3GamescomTGS etc...

You're really THAT clueless, are you ?

A "joke" of a game ? Funny, when all who have actually tried it enjoyed the experience, especially since the latest build was made available.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

That's bad logic.

When you're well ahead, you have the room to experiment and hopefully find new IP that can turn into continuing franchises. You don't have to depend on running existing franchises into the ground. The object is to build for the future when you're in a comfortable position. That's why businesses with a secure footing branch out and look to create innovative new products and untapped markets.

So, is this one of those like, that the product is soo successful that its bad for Sony? Yea, it didn't work when someone said that for Pokemon and Nintendo and it sure as hell isn't gonna work for ps4... Ps1 and Ps2 had game libraries that was hard to match with any platform and they were both very successful

Heck, SFV is Ps4 "exclusive" cause of the success of the ps4 and all the extra money Sony has to work with to secure exclusives like this

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Knack sucks

Drive club sucks

Blood borne looks good to be honest

The order looks like a dull interactive QTE movie.

Drawn to death looks meh.

Kill strain shouldn't even be talked about.

These games were made before Sony know how well the ps4 will sell. Now they will not take as much risks.
