F-Zero is an obscure enough franchise that a spin-off might mislead customers. People that only know F-Zero from Smash (and that's a lot of perople) might think that "that game where C.Falcom is from" is the spin-off, not the original racing game.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'm actually one of those who thinks that Star Fox should have on foot sections. A combination of Vanquish and DMC. (Beam Sword says hello)

And even I think that F-Zero should stick to racing.
