when i got my 360- my first game was gears of war and when i got live halo and gears were sooo sick loved it. but i sold it.

when i got my ps3- resistance and cod4 says it all.

as u can see im a sony boy.

I remember being very excited when I first got my Sega Mega Drive. I was only about 11, and was literally hopping around with joy as I left the store with it.

I felt very happy when I purchased my PS3. I bought it for about 750 euro with 3 games. It was like bringing some technological marvel from the future home, it felt so new and advanced.

I will tell you about my SNES experience then. I traded in my NES and Genesis and probably a dozen games between the two and paid $50 that i saved up (i know i totally got screwed now that i look back, but i was quite young and really had to have it) and i got my first SNES ever. It was magical..... and used so I didnt get to open the official Nintendo box but rather a regular brown cardboard box instead. The only games I got with it were Super Mario World and Kirby's Dream Course. Unfortanutely my dad thought it would be a great time to go camping that night so i didnt get to play it all weekend until i got back. I brought the manuals for SMW and KDC along and read them about a thousand times that weekend because it was the closest thing to gaming i could do (wasnt alound to bring my gameboy along camping).

When i finally got home the anticipation was just too much and i ripped kirby out of the box and jammed it into my SNES before unpacking or going to the bathroom only to find out the controller didnt work. Luckily for me it came with two controllers and i enjoyed a day of dreamcourse. The end.

Happy as a clam. I'll be the first to admit the games sucked for about 3/4 of the first year it came out (PS3).

360 I was real happy. Glad I could play online with my friends. Not as big a deal as the PS3 though.

PSP I was happy, but now I couldn't care much less about it.

I was actually a little pissed off when I first got my PS3, as I was in Blockbusters for about 35 minutes whilst the BB computers crashed nationwide.

When I got home I was so happy. I played the first three missions of Resistance, downloaded GT:HD and watched Casino Royale on Blu-ray.

When I got my Dreamcast I was mildly happy. I was itching to play Soul Calibur and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, but I also had Playstation and Nintendo 64 games coming up that I was insanely excited about. Unlike everyone else so far, I didn't realize the Dreamcast would be my favorite console in advance. It just happened to grow on me once I realized I could play any game I wanted for the price of a stack of recordable CDRs. It allowed me to play more of it's library than most other consoles i've owned. The arcade atmosphere was a huge deciding factor as were the emulators. I also partially blame myself for the downfall of SEGA as a console maker, but still, good times indeed.
